The role reports to the Controller who manages accounting support to certain GE businesses and functions across the region. Essential Responsibilities Lead and perform the accounting and control processes. Monthly, quarterly & annual closing and reconciliations. Accurate and timely corporate (USGAAP) & management reporting. Set-up new ledgers and establish accounting routines for handling a new GE businesses or projects in the region. Ensure compliance with local law, tax code, government regulations and filing requirements. Work as a financial partner to the GE businesses. Liaise with and keep informed the GE businesses/functions, Controller and HQ team.
