To manage, on a global basis, customer opportunity bids for complex telecoms software solutions. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Sales Team in developing the business Manage and prepare bids in accordance with company operating procedures Managing and interpreting customer requirements Ensure that the solution developed is the most competitive ensuring profitability for the business Support risk management and commercial negotiations as required Work with the Head of Bid Management and Sales Team to develop winning bid strategies Mentor and develop bid production and estimating skills throughout the team Liaise with other parts of the Openet organization to prepare proposals and deliver solutions. Develop a knowledge and understanding of Openet and the Openet product. Estimating project effort, cost and schedules based on customer requirements Writing comprehensive implementation project proposals for prospective customers Supporting Sales with any Openet input necessary to help win deals Presenting and defending proposals in front of prospective customers as required Engaging with customers during contract negotiations for bid management and services related topics Researching already implemented projects in order to further understand what Openet has done and the effort t ...
