This is a SWAT Team member role which carries the responsibility of helping sales reps to prospect for competitive opportunities across their accounts portfolio and to assist in progressing the opportunities from identified to qualified and eventually to closure. The route to market will be either direct, via business partners or key ISV organisations. Furthermore, the person should be able to identify the resources required and acquire them as he/she sees fit to address business goals.Working directly with a team of experienced sales representatives who are responsible for the sale of DB2 products as part of their Information Management product portfolio.The role will be a quota managing role with the goal to meet/exceed key business measurements and reporting requirements. Responsibilities include: developing and cultivating the competitive database pipeline and successfully resolving any complaint issues, prospecting for opportunities, managing the required actions to achieve targets for the now and the future.
