The objective of the role is to lead and facilitate a team of Project Engineers in the execution of the sites capital projects. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager Project Management. The engineering department includes Maintenance, Utilities, Projects, Facilities, Process Automation and Technical Services. Amgen Dun Laoghaire activities include Aseptic Manufacturing, Lyophilisation and Automated Inspection & Packaging. Role and Responsibilities • Leader projects and Project Managers• Developing, initiating and monitoring capital plans to reflect the immediate and long term needs of the site• Project scope and funding package preparation. • Commercial – agree commercial details, organise POs, ensure appropriate contractual agreements are in place, agree invoicing details, track payments, control cost and expenses. • Compliance with corporate project implementation policies.• Design Management – co-ordination of the design disciplines, any sub consultants or suppliers having a design responsibility.
