Västerås - Mechanical Engineering - Manager - ABB

You will be part of Robotics in Västerås. We develop, manufacture and marketrobots with associated control systems, software, arc welding products, trackmotions and motor packages. In Sweden, we are approximately 600 employees whoare located in Västerås and Gothenburg. More than 90 percent of our productionis exported and all the major automotive manufacturers are among our customers.The automotive industry and their subcontractors, as well as other industriessuch as the food industry, are the main users of robot-based automation.Welding, machine service, handling of material, grinding, packaging, andassembling are the most common application areas. The sales of robots and robotsystems are managed by local ABB companies as well as by freestanding systemintegrators and OEM companies and these are the firms we call our businesspartners. In this role, you will be based in Västerås, but work all over the globe. The Product Support department handles complex customer queries that local ABB companies have not been able to solve. Our goal is to be the reason why customers continue to work with ABB. By providing professional and quick product support, our department contributes to increased customer satisfaction.
