The Donegal facility will help supply the global market in order to meet the rapid growth in demand due to the increased incidence and detection of diabetes worldwide. The site has undergone considerable development in the past three years to upgrade the facility, including internal re-construction to improve the layout and look of the plant. In addition the facility HVAC equipment has been upgraded to improve efficiency and improve environmental performance. A key development in the Donegal site has been the introduction of a Printing Process to the plant. Previously all base substrate for product has been printed externally; however from February 2010 all substrate will be printed on site.
