The IBM Research & Development Lab in Dublin is looking for talented, experienced and enthusiastic software engineers to join the team.Ideal candidates have a passion for software design and development, in particular in developing cutting edge prototypes for complex research projects ranging from large-scale, distributed data analysis and information integration, to applications leveraging advanced numerical methods, to state-of-the-art user interfaces; this must be clearly demonstrable by career choices to date.Candidates must also have demonstrated ability to define software development plans and execute them in a timely manner. They should have a track record of work in middle to large scale commercial or open source projects demonstrating their ability to deliver sustainable work in complex software environments and integrate with larger software systems.As software developers in a research lab, candidates will be expected to work in heterogenous teams consisting of researcher scientists, domain experts, software engineers and business developers and to show excellent team skills.
