As a Solutions Architect you will assist the sales team with solution sales activities to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and provide SAS consulting services at customer sites.  You will develop and enhances personal and group skills primarily for the benefit of the pre-sales process.  You must possess a strong knowledge of SAS risk management products or the Solvency II regulation; be able to participate in and may lead the design process; have the ability to relate technical concepts to SAS applications and user needs and oversee the technical progress of ongoing services.  Additional responsibilities will include: Building a trusted relationship with the Account Executive, and client account to provide practical and theoretical guidance in the business value of proposed solution and set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction Strategizing with sales team on objectives for customer meetings, understanding how this activity relates to overall sales plan and providing functional solution leadership for sales opportunities Leveraging knowledge of the risk domain or insurance industry to increase SAS's credibility primarily in sales situations Conducting discovery meetings to collect, analyze, clarify and document ...
