We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated digital ASIC engineer with a background in processor design. The position is within our IC team which comprises 13 specialist development engineers who are responsible for the development of the GN ReSound DSP chipset.The jobYou will be joining a dynamic team whose goal is to develop best in class DSP/processors for hearing aids. You will bring to the team expertise in custom processor design and participate in all aspects of our front-end development including processor architecture exploration, HDL coding, verification and synthesis.Your primary tasks in this role• Processor architecture exploration and specification• Processor modeling• Implementation in VHDL, verification, synthesis and post-silicon test• Participation in cross-discipline hardware-software co-design• Foster the buildup of digital design expertise within the group via your own development and/or mentoringYou will have opportunity to develop state of the art processors where power and size are daily challenges.Our ideal candidate is one that thrives in a team environment as an active participant but at the same time has the passion and drive to develop the most effective chipset in the business.Your profileYou hold a Masters qualification (or a PH.
