Senior/Principal Researcher, 3D Computer Vision-RES0000016M Description Nokia Research Center in Tampere, Finland, is looking for a new senior/principal researcher to provide significant technical leadership in computer vision. This position will involve participating in hands-on research work as well as in creation of new research directions and projects. Once onboard and fully integrated, your research will cover many of the following topics: image matching, visual tracking, 3D reconstruction, computational geometry, numerical optimization, and image-based rendering. The research will focus, e.g., on mobile Mixed Reality and 3D map solutions. The work will include implementations on mobile handheld devices. You will take a project leader position and also coordinate university collaboration projects on related topics. As a senior/principal member of our research staff, you will be expected to initiate and create research ideas as well as contribute to research work that leads to technology transfer, publications, and Intellectual Property.
