The Sourcing Leader will work as the owner for sourcing for the assigned commodity (OEM products) with responsibility to manage a total estimated spend worth $10-20M. This includes the development, communication and execution of strategies to ensure realization of the business objectives, which includes strategic initiatives focused on material productivity, utilization of Low Cost Countries, and reduction of Single/Sole source risk, while improving supply Quality and On-Time delivery. Essential Responsibilities The portfolio of OEM products contains complete vendor products branded as GE products. The products range from complex instruments to consumables.Responsibilities include: Leading the development & execution of sourcing strategies that deliver a competitive advantage while driving the strategic supplier initiatives. This includes supplier selection, qualification, development, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance. Leading sourcing execution for assigned commodity(s) or suppliers, including full accountability for spend and meeting deflation targets.
