Senior Specialist / Project Manager

In this Audit Senior role, you will support internal audit and advisory efforts to assess governance, risk management, and controls across financial, operational, IT, and regulatory areas. You will report findings to supervisors and stakeholders and build relationships with leadership and business units. You’ll contribute to Real Estate’s SOX program objectives and prepare materials for Audit Committee discussions. You will also verify remediation activities and monitor implementation of recommendations, helping the organization strengthen controls and compliance.

Responsibilites

Assist in executing internal audit and advisory engagements across governance, risk, and control domains
Report audit status and observations to supervisors and stakeholders
Build strong relationships with internal leadership and business group stakeholders
Contribute to delivery of Real Estate's SOX program objectives
Gather and consolidate information for Audit Committee meetings
Perform follow-up procedures to verify remediation effectiveness
Assess adequacy of audit remediation efforts
Support multi-stakeholder coordination in a fast-paced, global environment

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2-5 years of relevant audit experience (external or internal)
Willingness to pursue professional qualifications (CIA, CPA, CA, or CFA) or active pursuit
Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX is advantageous
Experience in Asset Management, Real Estate, and/or Private Equity is highly preferred
Strong project management and presentation skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of handling multiple priorities
