As Commercial Manager in the Buildings group, you shape profitable, sustainable delivery by guiding project commercial activities and risk management. You’ll support the Project Management community and work with the Leadership Team to implement regional commercial strategies that enable growth across the UK&I. You will oversee bids and significant projects, review performance, and escalate issues through established channels. This role combines strategic influence with hands-on commercial leadership in a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

Responsibilites

Oversee commercial aspects of bids and major standalone projects
Develop competitive commercial proposals aligned with business objectives
Review project portfolios, internal reporting and escalation processes
Identify and resolve delivery challenges; mitigate risks with delivery teams
Guide and support Project Management community on commercial matters
Develop and implement regional commercial strategies for sustainable growth
Build and maintain relationships with Client and Partner Commercial Leads; act as escalation point for issues
Collaborate with Leadership Team to drive profitability and control risk across the region

Key requirements

Degree qualified in a relevant field (explicit degree not specified)
Strong commercial acumen and business analysis skills
Experience in Buildings/Construction sector and/or consultancy environment
Ability to interpret complex financial data and reports
Self-motivated with ability to engage all levels of the business and external partners
Proven track record in a similar commercial leadership role
