As Commercial Manager for the Buildings group, you drive profitable, sustainable growth by balancing risk with opportunity. You’ll guide project delivery communities, review portfolios, and escalate issues, while shaping regional commercial strategies. You’ll oversee bids and significant projects, developing competitive proposals that meet business objectives. This role offers visibility across leadership and a chance to influence how we expand across the UK&I with a collaborative, people‑oriented culture.

Responsibilites

Oversee commercial elements of bids and standalone projects
Develop competitive commercial proposals aligned with business objectives
Review project portfolios, internal reporting, and escalation processes
Identify and mitigate delivery risks; resolve project challenges with delivery teams
Develop and implement strong regional commercial strategies for sustainable growth
Maintain relationships with Client and Partner Commercial Leads for performance review and issue resolution
Provide guidance to Project Management community within the Buildings Group
Support growth through risk-balanced decision making and opportunity spotting

Key requirements

Degree qualifications in a relevant field
Strong commercial acumen and business analysis skills
Experience in Buildings/Construction sector or consultancy
Ability to interpret complex financial data and reports
Self-motivation and initiative; ability to engage with all levels of the business and external partners
