In this role you oversee wealth management operations within a Swiss firm, ensuring FINMA compliance and strong risk management. You analyze financial data to support strategic decisions, drive process optimization across operations and reporting, and lead multidisciplinary teams. You will manage relationships with investors, regulators and the board, translating regulatory needs into daily practice. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role focused on scaling operations while maintaining high compliance standards.
Responsibilites
- Oversee wealth management operations and understand financial markets and asset classes
- Ensure compliance with FINMA and Swiss financial regulations
- Analyze financial data and key business metrics to support decisions
- Drive process optimization across operations, compliance, risk management and reporting
- Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams with emphasis on operations
- Communicate effectively across all levels, from operational staff to executives
- Manage relationships with investors, regulators and board members
- Identify and mitigate operational risks related to trading, compliance and financial processes
- Ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into daily operations to maintain full compliance
Key requirements
- 5+ years of leadership experience in operations management within financial services
- Proven track record in managing operations of a growing wealth manager, with process optimization, digital transformation and risk management
- Degree in Business Finance, Legal, Business Administration or a related field
- Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
- Experience implementing and optimizing business processes in operations, compliance, risk management and reporting
- Knowledge of Swiss financial market regulation, especially FINMA
- Supportive role with auditors during auditing processes
- Flexible and entrepreneurial personality with strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Fluent in English and German; Italian is an advantage
