In this role you will oversee daily store operations, often as the sole manager with accountability for the full shop. Responsibilites
- Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth running in the absence of more senior management
- Lead and coach team to deliver brilliant customer service and meet performance targets
- Manage performance, disciplinaries, and employee relations matters
- Schedule staffing and ensure pay accuracy
- Provide operational coverage across nearby stores as required
- Maintain compliance with safety and customer service standards
Key requirements
- Track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching others
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Ability to motivate others, drive performance, and keep operations running smoothly
- Operational leadership in the absence of senior managers
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction, colleague engagement)
- Experience managing employee relations issues including performance and absence management
