Responsibilities

Develop and implement AI-driven solutions for semiconductor manufacturing
Analyze and explore new AI use cases with Manufacturing, Engineering and IT
Support proofs-of-concepts through to productive solutions
Integrate AI models, data pipelines and AI services into production-related systems
Build and enhance data and AI platforms based on event-streaming and container technologies
Implement anomaly detection, predictive maintenance and process optimization
Contribute to deployment, orchestration, operation and monitoring of productive AI applications
Explore new applications for AI agents and agent-based workflows
Improve data quality, interfaces, documentation and governance with internal partners
Train and provide technical guidance to engineers and specialist departments

Key requirements

University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics or a comparable scientific or technical discipline
Professional experience in Data Science, AI Engineering, Data Engineering or related field, ideally in an industrial environment
Analytical thinking with independent, structured and team-oriented working style
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and unite different specialist groups
Experience in developing and operating data-driven applications or AI solutions in productive environments
Experience with event streaming, data pipelines and modern data platforms such as Apache Kafka
Experience in developing, deploying and orchestrating containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD and reliable operation of productive AI applications
Knowledge of AI agents, agent-based workflows and their integration into business and production processes
Practical experience with DS/ML/AI frameworks and libraries (Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Very good English; German skills are an advantage
Willingness to travel occasionally
