As Design Manager for Data Centres, you will lead the technical direction of complex, international projects and translate client needs into robust, scalable solutions. You’ll work within multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering, architecture and sustainability, guiding projects from concept to construction. This role offers exposure to some of the region’s largest data centre schemes and opportunities to shape how COWI delivers international data centre programmes. You will drive technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and business development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilites

Lead the technical direction and delivery of complex data centre projects, ensuring high quality across disciplines
Engage with customers to translate business drivers into scalable, resilient technical solutions
Act as technical lead and trusted advisor on major data centre programmes
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering, architecture and sustainability
Support project development from concept through design, tender and construction phases
Contribute to business development, including client engagement, proposals and market positioning

Key requirements

Relevant engineering education (electrical, mechanical, civil or similar)
Extensive experience in engineering consultancy, technical advisory or complex infrastructure projects
Proven experience on data centre projects or large-scale mission-critical facilities
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and delivering complex engineering projects
Strong commercial understanding and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
Professional proficiency in English
