In this role you will drive verification for IPs and SoCs, shaping validation plans and checkers to ensure correct functionality and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement verification strategies, coverage, and metrics that scale with project needs. The role emphasizes formal and functional verification techniques, memory/interconnect focus, and automation to improve efficiency. This is a hands-on position that impacts silicon quality and verification maturity across the team.
Responsibilites
- Assess new technical specifications and build verification plans for IPs
- Implement verification checkers and run non-regressions
- Develop coverage and performance metrics
- Report progress regularly and contribute to KPI improvement
- Participate in verification methodology and flow enhancements
Key requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SoC/IP hardware verification
- Strong knowledge of hardware communication protocols (AXI, AHB, etc.) and Network-On-Chip basics
- Data coherency concepts
- RTL coding and verification using high-level tools
- Strong C/C++, Python; Python automation for workflow improvements
- Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, SystemC
- Experience with Cadence NCSIM, Synopsys VCS/Verdi, Git, SVN
- Linux experience; MS Office suite usage
- Exposure to IP functional and formal verification techniques
- Experience with memory, interconnect, or other SoC subsystems design or verification is welcome
