As Head of Power Systems in Norway, you lead a growing team within Ramboll’s European Power Systems initiative. You drive country strategy, client development, and project leadership in a consultancy setting, while embedding AI-enabled ways of working to improve efficiency and outcomes. You will collaborate with the global Power Systems team and act as a thought leader to advance Ramboll’s mission of sustainable change in Europe. This role combines strategic direction, people leadership, and digital transformation to shape the Norwegian power systems market.

Responsibilites
- Lead country and client strategies for Norway
- Set growth and hiring plans for the Power Systems team in Norway
- Drive business development and client relationships in transmissions, distribution, substations, and electrical engineering
- Line management and professional development of the local Power Systems team
- Co-develop the Norwegian power systems market with Ramboll units for holistic client offers
- Support electrification of other sectors in Norway
- Act as Project Manager for complex, multi-service assignments (design to owner's engineering and development support)
- Champion adoption/integration of AI-driven tools to improve tendering and project execution
- Identify and implement AI solutions to deliver smarter, faster, and cost-effective services
- Foster continuous improvement through new digital technologies and AI-enabled workflows
Key requirements
- Master's degree or other advanced degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Substantial experience in power systems project development, execution, or operation in consultancy or power company
- Profound knowledge of design, engineering, project economics, interfaces, risks, and commercial aspects of power systems development
- Proven track record in managing teams and multidisciplinary projects
- Industry reputation and established network
- Experience applying AI or advanced digital tools to improve business processes, especially tendering and delivery
- Forward-thinking mindset to anticipate trends and adopt AI solutions
- Strong leadership to drive digital transformation
- Excellent Norwegian and English skills
