In this role you deliver comprehensive orthodontic care within a health-focused setting, contributing to patient outcomes as part of a broader dental team. You will maintain licensure and board eligibility, adhere to employee health guidelines, and operate within the organization’s standards. The position offers meaningful opportunities to impact patient care in a Native health services context and to work with cross-disciplinary colleagues.
Responsibilites
- Provide orthodontic care to patients as part of a clinical team
- Maintain required licenses and board eligibility/credentials
- Comply with employee health procedures and immunization requirements
Key requirements
- Graduation from an accredited dental school
- Licensed as a Dentist in Alaska for non-intermittent positions; current license for intermittent positions or Commissioned Corps
- Completion of an approved residency in a specialty; board certified or board eligible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, PALS) as required for the scope
- Immunization requirements (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap, COVID-19) and adherence to health screening
