As Technical Product Owner, you shape the strategy and lifecycle of a Managed Kubernetes Platform within a telecom-focused engineering environment. You will align business objectives with platform capabilities, guiding the roadmap and coordinating releases across cross-functional teams. You drive automation, security, and reliability, leveraging cloud-native and GitOps practices to scale services for enterprise customers. This role blends hands-on technical discussion with strategic product ownership to deliver a robust, enterprise-grade platform.

Responsibilities
- Own the Managed Kubernetes Platform lifecycle from vision to operations and continuous improvement
- Define and prioritize the product backlog with DevOps and Platform Engineering
- Coordinate releases, change activities, and customer communications
- Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Management, and other Product Owners to align objectives
- Drive adoption of cloud-native and GitOps practices for scalable operations
- Support architecture decisions and technical strategy for platform enhancements
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and health and identify improvements
- Guide implementation of CNCF tools such as ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, Cilium, Velero, and Kyverno
- Foster cross-team collaboration to deliver scalable, customer-focused platform services
- Balance strategic ownership with hands-on technical discussions for platform evolution
- Drive automation and operational excellence across the Kubernetes Platform
Key requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience
- Strong Golang development experience
- Hands-on with cloud-native technologies: Echo, Kubebuilder, SQLC, Temporal
- Frontend experience with React and Material UI
- Solid for CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Kafka
- Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native app design
- Agile experience and proactive, collaborative mindset
- Telco or managed services experience is a plus
- Fluent English and German (B1+)
- Willingness for on-call rotations
- Residence in Switzerland or eligibility to work in Switzerland
