In this role you will lead the German entity's accounting and reporting, partnering with cross-border teams to ensure compliance and accurate financial insight. You will drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, and coordinate statutory audits and tax filings. Responsibilites
- Full responsibility for accounting and reporting for the German entity
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes in Germany
- Prepare and submit month-end, quarterly, and year-end reports aligned with consolidation team
- Coordinate statutory audits, tax filings, and GST ensuring compliance with German regulations
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive financial accuracy and transparency
- Continuous improvement of processes, controls, and reporting standards
Key requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, ideally in a SaaS, IT, or Tech environment
- Deep knowledge of German statutory requirements, including tax and audit processes
- Strong command of IFRS and German GAAP
- Fluency in German and English—both essential
- Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion or similar)
- Proactive mindset, analytical thinking, and a passion for precision
