Senior Specialist / Project Manager
Experteer Overview
In this role you will own the financial performance for the business lines, driving accurate P&L and balance sheet outcomes. You will partner with the Accounting and Finance teams to interpret data, explain variances, and surface risks and opportunities. You’ll support audits, disclosures, and cross-functional projects while mentoring others. This is a chance to influence decision making in a leading audio company and contribute to scalable, data-driven insights.

Responsibilites
- Own P&L for the supported lines of business, recording and reviewing standard and non-standard transactions
- Review podcast agreements for accuracy against contracts
- Prepare profit statements for internal and third-party talent
- Own complex balance sheet reconciliations and executive summaries, resolve open items
- Link transactions to P&L and balance sheet impacts
- Collaborate with Accounting Team and Finance partners to convert data into insights
- Identify issues, propose solutions, and communicate them to supervisors
- Mentor and review work of other accountants
- Support internal and external audits with complete documentation and audit trail
- Assist in preparing footnote disclosures and supporting schedules
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional teams; prepare ad hoc reports
- Develop expertise in iHM accounting systems for efficient data processing
- Build subject-matter expertise in assigned areas
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and 5+ years of accrual-based accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookup)
- Financial systems experience (COGNOS, NetSuite, Peoplesoft)
- Strong written and oral communication across multiple levels of the organization
