As Senior Construction Manager, you lead construction phases for water and wastewater projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. You’ll work within BV Construction to apply safety-first practices, mentor on-site teams, and coordinate with owners, EORs, and contractors. The role combines field leadership with client management and project controls, underpinned by the company’s ESOP culture and commitment to enduring quality. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position with opportunities to shape complex infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilites
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly progress reports
- Prepare and review documentation for disputes, such as RFI responses, change order development, and issues or claim
- Assist owner management and delivery of projects on time and on budget
- Utilize internal Project Management Information Systems (PMIS); Procore preferred
- Present findings to clients and design team through oral and written communication
- Lead monthly progress meetings with owner, contractor, and engineering design team
- Lead construction administration phases including schedule and submittal reviews, RFIs, change requests, and pay applications
- Coordinate and manage staffing for field and field offices; delegate to junior staff
- Forecast staffing and project needs for efficiency
- Manage subconsultant firms and monitor costs and invoices
- Assist in preparation and review of client fee proposals and construction budgeting
Key requirements
- 18+ years of water/wastewater project experience including pump stations and pipelines
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field
- OSHA training (preferred)
- PE license preferred
- Procore, Excel, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Experience in staff management and client coordination
