In this role you lead regional service operations for battery energy storage systems under long-term service agreements. You guide a Service O&M team, manage warranty and subcontractor activity, and ensure safety, compliance, and commercial alignment. You will act as the main customer interface, drive regional performance against KPIs, and collaborate with Delivery, Sales, OEMs, and customers to enable smooth handovers and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on operational excellence and scalable Service delivery.
Responsibilites
- Lead and develop Service O&M Supervisors to ensure safe, high-quality service across sites
- Oversee LTSA execution with contractual, performance, and commercial alignment
- Main customer interface for service operations, managing expectations and escalations
- Drive regional KPIs including availability, safety, and use of digital/AI-enabled service tools
- Plan regional operations: resource allocation, workload balancing, weekend/holiday rotations
- Manage warranty obligations (claims, extensions, resolutions)
- Lead subcontractor selection, onboarding, RFQs, evaluations, and negotiations
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure contract/SLA compliance and safety
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all countries of operation and address gaps
- Take commercial ownership of service delivery: quoting, billing, and collections; pursue upsell opportunities
- Resolve complex contractual issues using LTSA/O&M clauses and clarify ambiguities
- Collaborate with Delivery, Sales, OEMs, and customers for smooth handovers and readiness
- Support Services Director on regional service strategy, cost control, and continuous improvement
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution via ticketing/incident-management tools
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years
- Proven experience leading regional or multi-site service/operations/O&M teams
- Experience managing LTSAs/O&M contracts for complex assets
- Strong commercial/financial understanding including cost control and warranty management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including customer-facing leadership
- Fluency in English
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally
