As Structural Lead, you steer design delivery on international data centre projects, ensuring robust, scalable solutions. You will work with cross-border teams and clients to translate requirements into practical designs while managing scope, budget, and schedule. The role spans concept through commissioning, shaping our growing data centre practice and its global footprint. You’ll mentor engineers and contribute to building a sustainable, innovative approach to digital infrastructure.
Responsibilites
- Act as Structural Lead on international data centre projects, accountable for scope, budget, and schedule for structural works
- Engage with international data centre clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust design solutions aligned with project delivery stages
- Support projects across the full lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through design, construction, and commissioning
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary international teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
- Contribute to the development of the department’s international market presence and business growth
- Guide and mentor structural engineers and designers
Key requirements
- Degree in civil or structural engineering
- Experience from data centre projects or other large-scale mission critical projects
- Experience leading structural engineering teams
- Professional proficiency in English
