In this role you will oversee a team delivering comprehensive fund accounting and reporting services to international fund clients in the alternative investments space. You will ensure accurate NAV calculations, financial statements, and regulatory deliverables while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll lead and develop staff, drive on-time client deliverables, and contribute to the growth of a fast‑moving fund services practice. This is a hands-on, impact‑driven position in a dynamic Luxembourg office.

Responsibilites
- Prepare and review general ledgers, sub ledgers, and trial balances for international fund clients under IFRS/Lux GAAP/US GAAP
- Prepare and review periodic NAV calculations and related reconciliations and fee calculations
- Prepare and review annual financial statements and tax deliverables (VAT, CIT, Subscription Tax)
- Prepare and review regulatory reporting to local regulators (BCL and CSSF)
- Coordinate and monitor the timely delivery of client deliverables per MOA/SLA
- Collaborate with finance, investor services, fund legal, auditors, law firms and tax advisors
- Coach and train staff on accounting elements; support Manager Fund Accounting
- Assist Manager with internal requests, KPI queries, and staff recruitment/feedback/appraisals
- Assist onboarding teams with document review and setup of new client entities
- Escalate and coordinate improvement points to grow the fund services team
- Engage with client queries in a timely and professional manner
Key requirements
- Bachelor or Master in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
- 5-6 years of relevant working experience in fund services
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- People leadership skills and ability to enable staff to reach potential
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Accurate, flexible, hands-on, able to meet tight deadlines
- Open to feedback and providing feedback to internal parties
