    Role

    Team Lead Corporate Financial Controller tasks and responsibilities:

    • Team Lead of the Corporate Financial Controller NL and Corporate Financial Controller;
    • Coordination of monthly, quarterly and annual closings
    • Responsible for administrations of multiple entities
    • Preparation statutory annual accounts, independently or supporting, depending on the entity
    • Convert US GAAP figures to local statutory GAAP
    • Compliance with local Accounting rules and laws
    • Cooperate with (external) tax consultants, prepare various tax returns and annual tax accounts
    • Setting up and maintaining various documentation: tax, legal, audit, account reconciliations
    • Make proposals for improvement of the financial processes
    • Ad hoc cooperation for international accounting related projects (tax and / or restructuring projects)

    Candidate

    As a Team Lead Financial Controller you will have:

    • Managing skills to develop direct reports and maintain the positive atmosphere
    • Audit experience
    • Solid knowledge of the statutory requirements of Belgium and Netherlands
    • Ability to interpret and apply accounting policies
    • Strong experience in finance (experience in chemical industry is a plus)
    • US GAAP and Dutch GAAP experience and application
    • Knowledge of and experience with SAP and Excel
    • Good communication in English (Dutch is plus)
    • Team player, proactive and result-oriented
    • Able to monitor and control multiple processes simultaneously
    • Compliance - Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)

    Deal

    As Team Lead Financial Controller you will get:

    • A competitive salary between 95,000-115000 annually
