    Our client has been a household name in the Rotterdam region for almost 150 years. They have been providing regional public transport services as privatised company since July 2007.

    Role

    You take responsibility as a data architect by making architectural choices. Also, drawing up an implementation roadmap for changes and adjustments within the BI domain is no problem for you.
    You easily apply the right (meta) data models to further develop our data domain. At the same time, you guarantee the connection to our continuously changing business processes. Of course, in accordance with the established frameworks, guidelines and legal provisions.
    You do this independently and always with a positive mindset. Good is not good enough for you. Within this new position you always go for perfection when it comes to data architecture.
    From assessing IT advice to helping choose data-related IT resources and identifying opportunities within the data domain. You ensure that the company can realize its digital ambitions thanks to a high-quality and efficient data landscape.
    You strengthen the team in the ICT department. Here you and your colleagues are an important support for the core business of the company.
    Data is generated, processed and exchanged everywhere in the company. Although you perform this function independently, you can always count on the support of your colleagues. Thinking of the companys information manager, information architect and data specialists.

    Candidate

    To be successful in this position you have:

    • a higher vocational education or university degree in Computer Science or Business Information Management, with a demonstrable university level of work and thinking;
    • experience in guiding growth towards a data-driven organization;
    • at least 5 years of work experience as a data architect or process architect and some experience as a data engineer;
    • demonstrable experience with Microsoft's Azure platform;
    • experience in devising and realizing complex data exchange. Within the public transport sector is a nice bonus;
    • familiarity with data governance analytics and end-to-end data architecture;
    • extensive experience in the field of data exchanges and associated technology, for example EAI, ETL or KAFKA;
    • knowledge of, among other things, BI tools, data integration suites and master data management;
    • experience with project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2 and Agile Scrum;
    • excellent written, oral performance and consulting skills.

    Deal

    What's in the offer for you:

    • a job for 36 hours a week for 1 year with the intention of extending;
    • a maximum salary of 5,635 for a 36-hour working week (scaling depending on work experience and level of education);
    • holiday allowance of 8% per year;
    • an end-of-year bonus of 8.33% per annum;
    • an additional payment (life-course savings scheme) of 1.5% per year.
