Imaging this, you are responsible for importing more then 5.000 containers a year packed with children toys. You are negotiating with the Ocean Shipping companies to make sure that you get the beste prices. You are the person who will work with and manage the 3PL companies in 5 different countries in Europe. Are you a KPI driven person who is up for the next challenge in his career? Responsibilities Supply Chain Manager Toys

The company is specialized in producing and distributing kids toys, with factories worldwide. In your role you will have a strong focus on the Ocean Shipping and managing the 3PL suppliers. There are 5 DC’s located in Europe where you will be responsible for. To achieve your KPI’s you work closely with the 3PL suppliers.
Your main tasks will be;

  • Negotiating and contracting Ocean Shipping companies;
  • Based on the forecast you will plan the shipping and make sure the containers are just on time;
  • Feed your 3PL’s with the sales forecast, inbound and outbound planning;
  • You will manage the 3PL’s on their performance.

Requirements Supply Chain Manager Toys

To be successful in this job you have:

  • Relevant Bachelor or Master study;
  • Can and will do mentality;
  • Experience with negotiation with Ocean Shipping companies;
  • Lots of experience with Ocean Shipping;
  • Super user with Excel;
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 would be a plus

The offer Logistics Manager

The salary will depend on your working experience and educational background between 5.000 and 6000,- gross a month. Other benefits we like to discuss in an interview.
