Basic Qualifications · Hire and lead the team. · Develop detailed industry analysis focused on competitor profiles and benchmarking. · Identify and assess competitor behavior, and generate ideas to always offer the best selection at the best prices. · Create business analytics framework and software to assess competitor behavior in a comprehensive and quantitative fashion. · Design and build tools for vendor managers and category leaders to use for decision-making and negotiations to ensure best-in-class terms. · Extend techniques, tools, and systems to enable vendor managers to negotiate more effectively in full range of negotiation situations. · Challenge the performance of our retail vendor management teams.
